This week, the Grade 10 MYP Music students presented their compositions for their E.Portfolio section of their assessments. Three students presented their work as part of the MYP curriculum, but five students created original compositions centered around the Statement of Inquiry, “The Arts exposes 21st century issues.” The students were free to select an issue they connected with and using compositional software, write an original piece expressing the concerns and emotions associated with the issue. Congratulation to Al Reem Al Shibli, Mahwish Shakeel, Hans Oracion, Oscar Van Hove, and Gonçalo Forno for their hard work, focus, and creativity on their E.Portfolio assessment!
