Grab your popcorn and drinks, it’s time to watch a movie! Next week on Thursday, our grade 10 students will be putting their film review skills to work. We have booked a private viewing of the latest DC superhero film, Black Adam, and after watching this film on opening day, they will be able to tell you if it’s worth your time or not.

Film reviews are a great way to practice making a claim and supporting your thinking through detailed analysis and we have already had significant practice working with a film in class and in a self-selected analysis of a film scene. We are all excited to apply our experience to a more authentic scenario – (primarily because it means we get to go to the cinema). Real-life applications are the best!
