Grade 1 has adjusted brilliantly to distance learning, even at such a young age! Hats off (pirate hats, of course!) to parents and students for making online learning a priority. This week, we were fortunate to have Ms. Viviana join our teaching team! She is teaching us writing strategies and giving support for our language development and reading. We’re so glad she’s with us for a month! In online school we have been exploring fractions, writing descriptions, and reading stories together. Distance learning is also helping us to learn how to take turns, not talk over each other, and mute our microphones! It’s all smooth sailing … until Ms. Lucy forgets to turn her mic back on!!!!
