This week in our UOI we explored mini beasts in Oman. We went around the gardens of the school some time ago searching for animals in our environment. Many of the children observed mini beasts and took photos. This week we were sent some beautiful photos of insects which sparked a new interest and a enthusiasm to do more inquiry into mini beasts living at ABIS. The children observed and discussed the creatures in the pictures then sorted them into different habitats. They then created wonderful models of their chosen insect using a variety of materials. We think they made an awesome job of making life like mini beasts.
