This week, we continued exploring our Unit of Inquiry, How We Organise Ourselves. Students reflected on the important responsibilities they have at home and proudly shared the ways they help their families, from making their bed and cleaning up their toys to helping with younger siblings and caring for farm animals.
As part of this learning, students applied their social and communication skills by participating in a Think, Pair, Share activity. They took turns listening, speaking, and sharing their ideas with peers about the roles and responsibilities they have at home. Students then extended their thinking by writing about their responsibilities in their writing journals. It was wonderful to see them making meaningful connections between their home experiences and our classroom learning.
