This week grade 8 students started their unit in which they will learn about the causality of population change and population sustainability.

First the students wrote their own factual questions before looking at the ones on Managebac. The students then prioritised the factual questions they wanted to find answers to. Below you can see the ones that students priortised:

At the end of the week, the students created Frayer Model Charts for the specific concepts and unit terminology which we will review throughout the unit to ensure students are confident to use the subject concepts and terminology in speech and writing (Criterion A Strand i):
