This week I have had the pleasure of working with Grade 7 students, teaching language acquisition. It’s been really interesting to dive into this unit with them. They have been looking at the statement of inquiry, ‘Cultural conventions shape family structure and identity formation.’ We have looked at cultural conventions within Omani families, and then they moved onto looking at cultural conventions in 2 other English-speaking countries around the world.

I have really enjoyed getting to know this group of students better. I’ve walked away from each lesson really impressed with the patience and respect they have shown me and also how hard they have worked.

Moving onto my G8 Advisory group- they also are a pleasure to meet every morning! Their Service As Action projects are starting to take shape, and they have been working hard on getting their goals completed! Phew…

What a lovely bunch of humans they are!
