Upon their safe return from their sailing fieldtrip, Grade 8 students immediately dove in to get ready for the next event – the house competition which they will host on 11 December.
The spent Thursday morning going through a list of AI-generated activities to decide what they could manage. They worked in 4 teams:
Team 1 proposed their own activity – ladders.
Team 2 proposed doing multiple different types of relays.
Team 3 proposed a puzzle relay.
Team 4 will make their proposal next Wednesday.
Then the class will decide on the best activity to run and begin planning out the logistics of it.
It was great to see their engagement.
