This term, our Grade 8 IBMYP students have laid a solid foundation in the fascinating world of changes in matter. Over six weeks, they engaged with key concepts, culminating in an exciting laboratory week dedicated to practical exploration.
Students delved into the separation of mixtures through methods such as chromatography, filtration, and evaporation, while also investigating chemical and physical changes. This hands-on experience not only reinforced their theoretical knowledge but also sparked curiosity and enthusiasm for chemistry.
As we approach the Eid break, we hope this immersive learning experience empowers students as they transition to more complex chemistry concepts in the coming months. We wish them a joyful and refreshing Eid, and look forward to welcoming them back, revitalized and ready to tackle the final lap of the academic year. Their journey in science has just begun, and we are excited to see where it will lead!
