This Week in Our Classroom:

Grade 8 students have completed their assessment on Linear Relationships, evaluated under Criterion A (Knowing and Understanding) and Criterion C (Communicating). Grade 9 also undertook a paper-based test focusing on Criterion A and C, demonstrating their skills and knowledge. Meanwhile, Grade 10 students were assessed on trigonometry, surface area, and volume of 3D objects, preparing them for their upcoming e-assessments with an emphasis on Criterion A and C. For Grade 12, the focus remains on completing the first draft of their Internal Assessments for Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation, as they refine their work for submission.

Student Spotlight: Congratulations to Grade 8 student Fatma B for his outstanding performance in analyzing and communicating solutions for linear relationships. In Grade 9, Anabel excelled in demonstrating clear and logical reasoning in her paper-based test. Grade 10 student Tia showed exceptional understanding in applying trigonometry to solve complex problems involving 3D objects. In Grade 12, Reem is making remarkable progress in crafting her Internal Assessment with a unique and insightful approach.

Looking Ahead: Next week, Grade 8 will begin exploring new problem-solving strategies in linear relationships. Grade 9 will dive into multi-step problems involving bearing and measurement. Grade 10 will continue refining their skills in preparation for the e-assessment. Grade 12 students will receive targeted feedback to polish and finalize their Internal Assessment drafts. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!
