What a night! The PYP Winter Music Concert on December 4th, 2024, was a resounding success! Our Grade 6 students absolutely shone, showcasing their incredible talent and hard work.
From the moment the curtains rose, the atmosphere was electric. Our Grade 1 and 2 students kicked things off with adorable renditions of classics like “Daddy’s Taking Us to the Zoo” and “Sing a Rainbow.” Their enthusiasm was infectious, and those little voices filled the auditorium with joy! 🎤🎶
Then, our Grade 6 students took center stage. Their performance of “Nobody Home” was simply breathtaking! The soloists captivated the audience with their powerful voices and emotional delivery. 👏
The energy continued to build as Grades 3-6 joined forces for a series of uplifting and inspiring songs. “A Song of Peace” featured some incredible solo performances, and “Go the Distance” had everyone singing along. We were also treated to beautiful renditions of “Corner of the Sky,” “Happy Song,” and “The Prayer.” ✨
But the musical magic didn’t stop there! Our talented pianists, Ian and Choa, wowed us with their incredible skills. And the piano and xylophone duet by Choa and Beni was a true highlight! 🎹🎼
The concert culminated in a heartwarming performance of “Light a Candle,” with stunning solos by Khadijah, Shekinah, and Eliza. The grand finale, “Rhythm of Life,” brought all the students together for a powerful and unforgettable performance. 🌎🎶
We are so proud of all our students for their dedication and hard work throughout the rehearsals. They truly embraced the spirit of the season and shared their love of music with the entire school community. A huge thank you to our amazing music teachers, Ms. [Music Teacher’s Name] and Mr. [Music Teacher’s Name], for their tireless efforts in preparing the students for this spectacular event.
