Greetings students and welcome to IBMYP Grade 8 Science class! I hope you all had an enjoyable and rejuvenating summer break. This term we will be starting our first unit on cell division. Within this unit, we will explore how cells divide via the processes of mitosis and meiosis. We will learn about the important stages of cell division and how errors during this process can sometimes lead to cancer. I’m excited to delve into the intricate world of cells with you all. The new academic year promises to be an exciting one as we discover more about this fundamental process of life.
