Here’s an important update from the EAL department: This week marks the commencement of the second round of WIDA testing for our students. WIDA is an essential tool that helps us evaluate how our students are progressing in acquiring English language skills.
This round of testing will allow us to measure the improvements our students have made in all key areas of the language along this school year, including speaking, listening, writing, and reading. It also helps us identify specific areas that need further support and reinforcement.
Different students from grade 2 up to grade 6 will be involved along the month of May of the different tests. We wish all our students the very best as they participate in these tests. Their hard work and dedication are sure to shine through. Let’s all cheer them on and support them through this important phase of their learning journey!
