Grade 10 Individuals and Societies students have had a successful experience with the mock eAssessment in Integrated Humanities. They have been analyzing and applying feedback and working hard to prepare for the upcoming on-screen exam on Wednesday, May 8th. There is a section on Google Classroom with a range of eAssessment practice resources. Additionally in Grade 10 I&S, students have been introduced to the last unit of the year, The History of Human Rights. This is a unit that explores the historical development of human rights largely through the lens of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. This is also a key part of the curriculum for the Human Rights unit in DP Global Politics. Students will be exposed to a series of presentations, videos, and online resources that explore this pivotal moment in U.S. history that had a significant impact on other social movements around the world. As a summative task, students will have the opportunity to inquire into the legacy of the Civil Rights movement in another time period or region.
