Dear Secondary Families

I hope that this message finds you safe and well. My thoughts go out to all of those who have been greatly affected by the flooding this week. As always, it is heartwarming to see how our community pulls together to support each other.

Teachers have been able to provide online work for our students this week, and I would like to thank our students and teachers for their flexibility and ability to adapt so quickly. I know that internet connections have been unstable and that, certainly for some families, priorities have rightly been elsewhere. We look forward to welcoming all students back to school next week.

Tomorrow, we will be hosting the Nautilus Swim Meet and look forward to welcoming swimmers and their families from Muscat. After extensive repairs and renovation, this is an exciting day. The first race is scheduled for 9.30 am and we would love to see as many spectators as possible! We have a number of swimmers from ABIS who will be competing.

After School Activities (ASA’s) will start on Sunday, and I hope that you have had an opportunity to see what is being offered and sign your child up.

Our cancelled Parent Coffee Morning will now be rescheduled for Tuesday 23rd April. I look forward to meeting with you all from 8.00 – 9.30 am.

I wish everybody a safe and lovely weekend.
