Dear ABIS community, I hope this post finds you safe and well. Last night was scary for all and I hope that those in need received the necessary support.

Despite being at home, the French students did their very best to complete the work set on google classroom. Grade 11 were challenged by some language questions on the theme ‘Education’. Grade 10 did a great job at writing poems about immigration. Grade 9 watch an interactive and informative video about tourism in order to kick start their last unit about travelling. Grade 8 got ready for their cooking show next week by practicing their script and reviewing their traditional recipes. They also reflected on a key question connected to our current unit ‘what is humanitarian aid?‘ with a authentic video. Last but not least, the grade 7 worked on two very important verbs – faire – and – jouer – in order to be able to use them correctly and talk about the sports they enjoy practicing. They also did some cultural research about a very famous French sport event.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday, and discuss and review what you learnt. Great work every one, well done managing to achieve some work despite the stressful times.
