Dear KG 2 Families,
As always, we’re happy to tell you about what the young students have been doing this week. Even though it’s been a short time, it’s been filled with lots of fun and learning.
This week, we focused on how two letters, “ai,” make one sound. It was great to see the kids reading words with this sound. We also practiced writing a sentence using the words “look,” “at,” and “the.” It was amazing to see them write and draw.
In our “Sharing the Planet” unit , we talked about why plants are important and how we use them. The children learned and shared valuable information about why it’s crucial to protect plants and how they help keep the air clean in our environment.
