Grade 3 is adjusting to the new timetable and working hard to finish their learning activities.
We have started our new unit of inquiry this week and have been connecting our learning by finding out about inventions from ancient civilizations. The students have learnt the difference between inventions and innovations and have chosen to find out about the gaming console and how it has changed since it was invented. We have also started reading ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’.
In maths, we have started learning about time, looking at the features of an analogue clock and connecting it to fractions by reading half past, quarter past and quarter to.
