Dear KG 2 Families,

Our week was delightful and filled with joy. We celebrated the “Mother Tounge” activity with the children, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to the mother who attended and shared a story with the children. It’s truly heartwarming to witness the children engaging in the story and expressing their understanding in different languages. Additionally, on the same day, we had the chance to visit the Sixth-grade exhibition at the school. The children explored the exhibition and gained insights into various educational experiences.

This week, the children enthusiastically engaged in numerous number-related games, fostering a love for challenges and friendly competition among them. Additionally, they exhibited remarkable creativity in exploring various patterns using tangible sensory tools such as seeds, tree leaves, and sticks.

In literacy, our focus remains on introducing new phonemes to the children. Throughout the week, they familiarize themselves with the sound represented by the letter “F” and its connection to our unit on “Sharing the Planet.” As part of this learning, the children created artwork depicting trees with flowers, symbolizing their understanding of this concept. Excitingly, we are nearing completion of our book project. Centered around the life cycle of a seed, the children have shown incredible dedication and skill in preparing this booklet, which will proudly feature their names as authors and illustrators.

Attached are some pictures illustrating our learning journey. Enjoy!

Friendly Reminder: Next week marks a holiday. We extend our warmest wishes for a delightful and restful holiday!

Warm regards,

Ms.AlJabri & Ms.Maryam
