Dear KG1 Families,
We took a lovely walk around the school grounds and gathered some things from nature. We picked nice-smelling herbs, colorful leaves, flowers and strong twigs. After the walk, we used these natural things to learn and have fun. In the classroom, we mixed and cooked with them. We also made medicine, like old times, using water sprays, pestles, and mortars. It was a cool way for our children to connect with nature and learn how to use plants for different things. They had fun and learned a lot about how nature can be helpful in our daily lives.
