Embarking on our fresh plant-focused unit, we initiated the week with an inaugural nature walk. Exploring the flora in our playground, we observed pumpkin vines adorned with blossoms and plan to revisit to monitor potential pumpkin growth. Delving into seed discussions, we examined various seeds during our walks, with students even contributing seeds from their snack box fruits. The nature table serves as a hub for our seed collection, fostering an engaging environment where students eagerly water the seeds. This immersive experience not only instills knowledge about plant growth but also fosters a love for exploring and appreciating the natural world among our students
