Thank you to all parents who have given in permission slips and deposits for our Oman Week trips. Today was the deadline for confirming attendance. We will now be finalising numbers and confirming with the various companies.
This week we saw our first Inter School Basketball Tournament for our middle and high school boys and girls. The evening was a great success and all of our teams achieved great results. Please see Mr Fernando’s post for all of the details!
In our MYP and DP support classes, we have been talking to students about their Approaches To Learning (ATL’s) and study skills. It is important that they develop good study habits at home and create a quiet space for themselves. We have been reminding our DP students that they should be looking to spend at least one hour each evening where they ‘check in’ on their learning for the day. They should be reflecting on what areas they may need to revisit or ask for additional support. It is also important that they find balance in their lives and therefore need to be very organised with their time. Please encourage them to talk to you about this and look for ways in which you may be able to support them.
