Students have completed their interdisciplinary unit be being advocates for a persecuted people. They were expected to create a blog or video using different types of texts and literary conventions. We have just started a new unit called “Principles and Hysteria.” Students will be reading “The Crucible,” by Arthur Miller in order to investigate how principles and hysteria might be linked and the consequences of that. They have just started to read the play, having investigated the context, including Puritanism, The Salem Witch trials and the McCarthy with hunts.
