Our primary students started their unit of work on invasion games last week. These games teach our kiddos so many different aspects of life and of navigating the world in general. Essentially invasion games are team activities where the purpose is to: invade the opponent’s territory or zone to score goals or points and protect your own territory to prevent the opposition from scoring goals or points.
In PE lessons this week we have been working on our attacking and defending play through high energy tag games, capture the flag and floor hockey.
