This week we have continued our P.O.I. by inquiring into different building materials. Some discovered that sand was ok for construction but adding water made it much easier as it became sticky. The plastic Magnetic tiles were great as they stuck together but it was too small to go inside. They built with wooden blocks but again they were too small so they made a home for the dinosaurs. The children experimented by building a house with biscuits and icing sugar and they all enjoyed the process of making the biscuit house and it tasted good but they agreed it would not be very good to live in. Next week we will be exploring other materials to build with and making comparisons. All the students are really enjoying their swimming and are making good progress.
