The grade 4 students have been learning about different forms of government and this week we focussed on monarchy. The question which came up was ‘What makes a good monarch?’.
The Learner Profile is always a good starting point for looking at character traits.The students worked on a Jamboard first, listing down how they hoped a leader would behave. Each group of 3 students had a Jamboard on which to work.
Today the students made a wanted poster for a good monarch. Not a particular monarch who already exists but a new monarch who did wonderful things. The students had some very good ideas.
