Students have been completing the Bias and Propaganda unit. They finished reading ‘Animal Farm’ and compared the book to the films made in 1956 and 1999. Students have just completed the final summative piece in which they analyzed the types and usage of propaganda found in the novel. They also created their own propaganda item, based on the text. Next week we start the third unit. This will be an interdisciplinary unit with Individuals and Societies entitled Voices from History. We will be looking at the literature surrounding certain important events in history.
