We began our Sharing The Planet inquiry this week, our big idea is ‘Ecosystems have many components that are interconnected.’ We watched a couple of wonderful videos as provocations that got us thinking and then shared our learning and ideas with each other to understand what an ecosystem is and the different kinds there are in the world. We started creating poetry about trees and was lucky to celebrate Earth Day. We tried to make up as many words as we could out of the words Earth Day – 42. We even got to do a lot of fraction learning and we try to relate to our everyday lives.
