Our 7th-grade student librarians have been putting some hours in at the library!

This week they started to tally up their hours and some of them have clocked over 26 hours volunteering for their service-as-action project since January! That is impressive, and it is making an impact on the organization of our library.

Students are learning many skills, such as how a library is organized, how to find and reshelve books, and how to use the library computer system and database to name a few. They are contributing their ideas and effort for organization and displays. We even have a “library photographer” ( see attached pictures). Thank goodness for student librarians!
