This week K1 & K2 decided to expand their knowledge on the native wild life in Oman by studying insects. They started by looking into, “what is an insect?” And how do they differ from the other species of animals found locally. The students then embarked on a insect hunt to research the different varieties found in the school grounds and the environments in which they live. They discussed how they should behave around the them so as to not cause them any harm. After their successful exploration the children went on to record their findings by recreating and discussing the variety of insects found and where they found them. The students had great fun exploring this subject and making their learning visual to all.
