This week the students have been busy in literacy making their names and exploring the alphabet. In Maths they have been learning about graphing, collecting information and sorting. In our unit of inquiry we have been learning about animals in Oman. The grade 11 students came into the ECC to talk to the younger students about turtles and other sea life. They spent time presenting to the children about conserving the oceans and caring for the sea life in it. They learnt about disposing of their litter in the appropriate places and not leaving it where animals can harm themselves. After they coloured pictures, made play dough turtles, they received “keep the earth green” bags from Sohar Aluminium.
