In grade 2 Information Literacy classes, we have been working on our comparison skills. This week students listened to the story “The Gruffalo” by Julia Donaldson. They had fun retelling the story of this clever mouse and other silly creatures by moving the characters around in their seesaw activity and recording their voices. They were quite dramatic in their retellings and it was fun to watch their enthusiasm. After retelling the story, they used a Venn Diagram to compare the Gruffalo to the mouse, recording similarities and differences.
