Grade 7 French students created their own imaginary cities to wrap up their unit on cities and neighborhoods. Throughout the unit of study, students compared their own neighborhoods to those of Francophone countries, paying particular attention to the different types of housing available for residents.

“What makes a city a good place to live?” This was just one of the questions students considered, along with learning about transportation and following directions. Students created a map of their cities and used it as a visual during their final speaking assessment for the unit.
