As I continue to plan for all classes, I have spent this week planning for paper 2 in DP History. The topic is Causes and Effects of 20th Century Wars. We will be looking at the First World War as part of this paper and I have been planning lessons to this effect. In preparation, I have also been able to find primary documents from an ancestor of mine who fought and died in the conflict. Sharing these with my family has been exciting and rewarding and I would encourage all of you to research family members who lived through or took part in important historical events.
