Grade 7 and 8 are continuing to read ‘The Ruby in the Smoke’ in their language and literature class. We have discussed the importance of an effective antagonist and protagonist in a story; now we are looking at the way supporting characters are introduced and developed. The class worked in small groups to identify a character and the techniques used to bring them to life before feeding back with their ideas.
