Grade 8 mathematicians where making posters, this week, to explain how to use the trigonometry they have been learning. This is part of their unit looking at relationships within triangles with the statement of inquiry (SOI) mathematical discoveries of the past continue to help us to solve problems today. Their posters will be assessed using criterion C for maths which assesses their communication skills. A good poster being one that is clear & easy to understand.
They also had the opportunity to stretch their understanding with lots of challenging questions.
