Grade 8 are a truly international bunch, bringing a wealth of languages and cultures together in one group. They have been rising to the challenge of presenting to each other in French to share some of this interesting heritage. They have been researching and compiling information in French about things they hold dear and feel proud about. Students have then put together some very attractive exposés and challenged themselves to use only French in presenting these, followed by questions and answers. It has been engaging to see very different perspectives of the world and things we hold dear, from family to food and a range of things in between. We are exploring what we have in common including the ability to use different languages naturally as we live around the world, to share ideas and make friends.
