This week Grade 9 mathematicians were collaboratively making video tutorials. This was part of the unit on Number. Their tutorials were showing how to solve various questions involving simplifying surds. They they watched each other’s tutorials and gave marks for communication (MYP math criteria C). This assisted newer students in better understanding of the criteria that will be used for assessments for math in grade 9. Also, as constructive feedback was given to support marks given, it assisted all in to how to achieve the maximum levels of attainment.
