Grade 12 have been studying the structure of matter at a particle physics level. We have been discussing the composition of sub-atomic particles (such as protons and neutrons) in terms of quarks, leptons and antiparticles). Students have also learned about particle interactions and the forces involved in these interactions.
Having completed the topic on Waves and Oscillations, this week grade 11 started on their Additional Higher Level topic of Wave Phenomena. This topic builds on the knowledge gained from waves and oscillations. Students investigated and discussed about Simple Harmonic Motion (SHM).
