This week the K1 and the grade 6 classes met for their first buddy session. The grade 6 group had been prepped before the meeting so they were able to understand how scary it can be for the younger children meeting big students for the first time. All the grade 6 students were great and soon had the K1s communicating and playing games with them. The k1s had a wonderful time and many told their teachers and parents that they had made new friends at school. They are very much looking forward to their next meeting.
