This week we enjoyed the following stories: Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book – we shared our favourite books with the class and drew the front covers. Thank you to those people who remembered to bring a book from home.

On Monday we read Elmer and made our own Elmer day elephant parade designs. We used colours to answer our maths question to complete our patchwork elephants.

Tuesday’s Book was Room on the Broom we worked in groups to order the picture from the story, then in maths we measured broomsticks using cubes. We also had a fun book quiz with K3, our friends in G7 helped us write.

On Wednesday The Rainbow Fish helped us to remember about sharing. We painted rainbow fish in art and coloured the maths question answers on the fish scales for maths.

Thursday was the Book day parade, we looked fabulous in our costumes.
