This week the grade 12 students had the opportunity to try their hands at performing scenes from Antigone, the final play we’re reading for Part 3 of the course. It was very interesting to see how the students interpreted their characters and really got into role. In fact, some of their interpretations got a bit frightening with the amount of emotion that went into the disagreements between Creon and his son, Haemon, and Creon and Antigone. Let’s just say that crossing the paths of these students when they are interpreting a character is not the best idea! They’re ferocious!
