Dr. Paul Elliott, Dean of Applied Sciences and Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Huddersfield University in the UK, visited ABIS today. He spoke to students about the value of a science education and various science degrees. Students considered exploring the Antarctic, adventuring in the Amazon, working in medicine, cleaning the environment, studying further in patent law, science journalism, or teaching. Professor Elliott made a compelling argument to continue to study science, regardless of the final career choice.
