There are 18 secondary students from ABIS participating this week in the region’s largest Model United Nations conference in Doha, Qatar. Acting as the delegation from France, a country on the UN Security Council, our students are well-prepared for debate. On Tuesday, while the student officers and press corps prepared for the debates, the rest of the ABIS students explored the beauty of Qatar’s desert and Inland Sea on a desert safari excursion. The real work begins on Wednesday, as the conference starts off with student speeches and resolution writing.
