First week back and already full throttle.
Grade 9 students have been learning about plant nutrition and investigating leaf structure.
Grade 11 Biology students covered metabolism and respiration and the Chemistry ones metallic bonding and molecular geometries.
Grade 12 Biology students covered further human Physiology and in Chemistry we talked about lipids and carbohydrates as part of the human Biochemistry option.
It was good to see as well that the new mesocosm that the grade 12 students built before the winter break is running strong again (last one we built run smoothly for 2 full years, which is quite an achievement).
