This week, Mr. HM’s G6 class made a visit to some anxious G7 students who were ready and able to teach the important math skill of finding the Lowest Common Multiple (LCM) and the Highest Common Factor (HCF). In order to explain this skill, the G7 students created a “Khan Academy” style video on the topics. If you’re not familiar with what a “Khan Academy” video is, just click the link to explore a few topics here: https://www.khanacademy.org/math And you can always ask a G7 student what they are and how they help us with our math skills.
Once the videos were shared, G7 students prepared some practice sheets and helped guide the G6 students to understand the concept and perform the skills of finding LCM and HCF. It was a great exchange of knowledge and learning… Thank you G6 and G7 classes for participating and working so well together today!
