Grade 10 and 12 history students discovered the more creative side of learning this week. Grade 10s made songs and poems about political and intellectual movements of the 19th century (liberalism, nationalism, socialism, etc.). They even rapped or sang their pieces in class!
After a terrific brainstorming session, grade 12s began working hard on a board game about the USSR’s most intimidating dictator, Stalin.
Both activities are fun, but also act as great ways to review content and skills before a more formal assessment.
