Students in grade 9 are preparing for a comprehensive assessment over their first unit, Number. Questions will generally come straight from the practice assessment questions in the text.
Grade 10 students completed received an assessment back regarding vectors and geometric transformations. Many students were very pleased, especially after the bumpy start in trigonometry.
Grade 11 Maths SL students are preparing for an assessment on functions. While this is a partial review from IGCSE maths, the IB does ask students to develop deeper connections.
Grad 11 Maths Studies SL students are progressing through a chapter on descriptive statistics (grouped data and cumulative frequencies) while grade 12 students continue through the very long unit on differential Calculus (curve sketching this week).
