It was great to meet Grade 8 this week! They are a lovely group of students and were all happy to start off the academic year with an experiment. In our lessons this week we reminded ourselves of the health and safety rules in a Science lab by carrying out the ‘squeaky pop’ test for hydrogen gas. The photograph shows the students in the following lesson during which they began their safety-focused write-up. Being new to the school, my own task for this week was learning everyone’s names and I am getting there 🙂 A great first week for Grade 8!
