Last week several student volunteers stayed after school to help start the building of the greenhouse. Students sorted bottles by size and shape, took of the caps and labels, and started cutting off the bottoms of the bottles. We even started connecting the bottles to build the poles that will become the walls of the greenhouse. Our greenhouse carpenters, Eckhart and Rining have also started building the wood frame for the greenhouse. Our next step will be to start attaching the plastic bottle poles to the frame. Thanks to all that have been helping us with this project by bringing in your water bottles.
